Welcome to my class page.  I'm Julie Corbett and I have lived in Aiken all of my life.  I attended J.D. Lever Elementary, Aiken Jr. High, Schofield and graduated from Aiken High School.  I earned a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from USC-Aiken and a master's degree in Early Childhood Education from USC.  I am married to Jimmy Corbett and we have 1 daughter and 2 sons. This year begins my 34th year as a classroom teacher.  I have taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. 

It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students.  I want my students to develop a desire to become life-long learners.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  It is important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need!  I look forward to a great year together!
