Hello, and welcome!  Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 2006 graduate of Lander University in Greenwood, SC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education supported by a minor in Biology. I also have a 2010 Master’s of Education Degree from Columbia College in Divergent Learning. I was born and raised in the small town of Little Mountain right in the upper midlands of South Carolina and I feel very at home here in Aiken! 

I am an avid personal artist, and traveler.  There is nothing more and exciting than a love to see and visit new places across the country and around the world!  I have three wonderful fur children at home, all dogs.  I'm pretty sure they think they're people!  I'm a die-hard Carolina Gamecock fan and love watching my team play in any sport!  Volleyball, football, and basketball are absolutely the most exciting games EVER!

This is my 14th year in education with 12 of them in 6th grade Science and Social Studies, and this my second year in 4th grade.  I absolutely love it!  It will be my goal throughout the year to make you and your child feel comfortable and excited about learning!  English Language Arts is one of those amazing subjects where you can teach all subjects while learning the art of writing and reading skills.  I am looking forward to co-teaching with Ms. Kathy Mitchell and working with you and your child all year!  Welcome to 4th Grade!
