Mrs. Dawn Farmer

I am Dawn Farmer and I am the Literacy Coach at Busbee Elementary!

I hold a bachelors in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and a Master in Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University. I am in the process of completing my SCDE Literacy Coach Endorsement. I have experience as a classroom teacher, Reading Recovery teacher, Reading interventionist, instructional coach and literacy coach. 

I am married to David Farmer, a project manager for Carolina Power in North Augusta. We are originally from Daytona Beach, FL and moved to South Carolina in 2008.  We are excited to be building a house in Wagener and hope to be finished before the first of the year.  We two daughters – Samantha Yates in Wilmington, NC and Rachel Bulloch in Raleigh NC.
