Hello! My name is Shanese Tafe, and I will be your child's teacher this year!  I am the Science and Social Studies teacher for fifth grade and am looking forward to new and exciting things. This year will be my fourteenth year teaching, and my fourth year at Busbee.  I have been happily married to my husband, Glenn Tafe, for 14 years, and we have four wonderful children together. 

I am originally from Lancaster, SC. My family and I moved to Kitchings Mill when I was 3 years, and I have been here ever since. I graduated from WSH in 1998, and went on to Newberry College to earn my first degree in 2002. I took a semester off and returned to earn a second degree in 2004. After college, I taught in Saluda County School District for 11 years. I was blessed to be able to return home and continue my teaching career here at Busbee.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing with kids, and spending time with my family.
