I love being the PE teacher at Busbee Elementary. I have a strong desire to help reduce childhood obesity, through healthy lifestyle choices and physical activity. Prior to Busbee Elementary, I taught 2 years at Chukker Creek, 1 year in Greenville County, and spent 2 years as a stay at home Mom. I am a graduate of Lander University with a BS in Physical Education and Liberty University with a Masters of Science in Human Performance: Strength & Conditioning. Along with teaching, I am the head JV volleyball coach at Wagener Salley High School and coach 8U travel ball.

I have been married to my husband, Drew, for 10 years. We have 4 children; Betty Jo, Junior, Jethro and Bristol Kay. In addition to teaching and coaching, I run our cattle farm, teach fitness classes, and I am actively involved in our church at Berlin Baptist. Outside of school I enjoy running, being outdoors, and spending time with family. I am very excited about being able to give back to the community that I live in and for another wonderful year at Busbee Elementary.
