Welcome to our Reading Intervention Program at J. D. Lever! My name is Jenny Shugart and I am thrilled to be your child's reading intervention teacher this year. I am from Greenville, SC and moved to Aiken shortly after graduating from North Greenville University in 2020. I have been married for about 3 years and we are expecting our first child in October! I am passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment to help shape the next generation. My goal is to instill a lifelong love for reading in all my students and to help them become confident and independent readers. Our program is designed to provide targeted support to struggling readers, helping them develop essential reading skills and fostering a love for reading. I believe that every student has the potential to become a confident and proficient reader, and I am committed to ensuring your child's success in this journey.
