• Welcome to the Media Center

    Mission Statement

    J.D. Lever's Media Center strives to equip students and staff members with the necessary tools and skills to become information-literate and life-long learners. Library users will be encouraged to inquire, explore, include, collaborate, curate, and engage with digital and physical media in the form of books, magazines, technology, and resources to think, create, share, and grow throughout their lives.

    Media Center Information

    Hours

    • The Media Center is open from 7 AM-2:30 PM Monday through Friday when school is in session.

    Checkout Policies

    • Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders may checkout 1 book.
    • 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders may checkout 2 books.
    • Parents/Guardians may checkout up to 3 books (under your child's library card)
    • Teachers may checkout an unlimited amount of books

    All books are checked out for one week and can be renewed once for an additional week.

    Damaged or Lost Books

    • Parents/Guardians are responsible for paying the replacement cost of their child's book if the book is damaged or lost.

    Fines

    • There are no fines for overdue books. Please return them as soon as possible.
