Ms. Mellixa Martinez

I am a special education teacher here at JD Lever Elementary. This will be my 8th year teaching. I have taught self-contained and resource from pre-k with disabilities, behavior intervention, to middle and high school self -contained.

I am originally from New York and moved to Florida for two years. I have been in South Carolina now for 7 years. 

I have 4 children. 2 sons ( 14 and 6) and 2 daughters ( 12 and 8). My two youngest are here with me at JD Lever elementary and they love it! I am super excited to be part of the JD Lever family.
