Welcome to J.D. Lever!  We are thrilled to join alongside you and your student this school year.  Our number one goal is to help each student achieve their absolute greatest potential.

I am serving as J.D. Lever's K-5 Literacy Coach.  Before my current role, I was a 3rd grade reading teacher.  However, I have not always loved reading!  Through my own personal reading journey I've learned to love reading.  It is this journey that has allowed me to make countless connections with students along their own journeys through learning to read and loving to read. 

Here, at Lever, we are working diligently each day, focusing on student-centered coaching.  Our focus is always on our wonderful students!  We work together, as a staff, to reflect on our own teaching practices.  Through teamwork, a positive learning environment, and a focus on student engagement, we are striving to achieve excellent in literacy!
