I am originally from Milledgeville, Georgia. I am the mother of four daughters ages 23, 21,18 and 7 years old. I have an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, GA. I have a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences (2011) and a Masters degree in Education (2014) from Ashford University. I am currently enrolled in my last course to complete a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I have also worked at Still Waters Professional Counseling in Martinez, GA, as a Mental Health Counselor since 2016.

I worked for the Baldwing County School District in Milledgeville, GA for two years, then I relocated to Aiken SC in 2016 and was hired at Jefferson Elementary School as a SPED Paraprofessional in 2018-2021. I started my career as a SPED Resource teacher in the 2021-2022 school year. I was also named as the First Year Teacher of the Year as well.
