Bachelors in Business Administration Masters in Executive Leadership Studies Doctoral Student: Organizational Leadership

Miss Merriweather

Hello!  My name is Ms. Merriweather.  I have been the Business Education Teacher here at Leavell McCampbell Middle School (LMMS) for the last 5 years.  This will be my 6th year teaching.  I teach Advisory, Coding, Personal Finance, and Fundamentals of Computing.  I have a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, Masters in Educational Leadership, and I have less than a year left to complete my doctorate in Organizational Leadership. I am excited for this school year and see some familiar faces and meeting some new ones.  I hope you are excited to learn and grow this school year.  See you soon!

is a wonderful resource to help your students be prepared for their educational future which is filled with typing.  Whether it is notes, resumes, emails, papers, etc.  It is a necessity to be able to type.  This is a free resource that your student can use this summer to prepare them for their school year and future.

There are 3 apps that are important for you and your student in my classes.

The 1st is .  Check with the guidance office to get your login information.  It will give you information on all your students grades in every class.  It is updated instantly as soon as an assignment is posted and graded.

The 2nd is .  It is the absolutely best way to contact me.  Cell phone signal is hit or miss here.  Mostly miss.  So I can and do reach out to parents at my desk or at home to commend, give notice, or give updates.

The 3rd is .  This is also a tool you can use to message me.  I use Class Dojo primarily for rewards and discipline.  You see your student get points, loose, and the reason why.  For instance, volunteering to answer questions, helping class mates,  getting out of seat, or being off task.

My job is to teach, inspire, and help my students excel.  Their job is to come to my class prepared and to give me their best.  Together we will have an amazing school year.

Class motto: There is no shame in asking questions.

There is no shame in asking for help.

But there is shame in NOT trying your best.
