Ms. Katie Wilson
My name is Katie Wilson and this is my 6th year at LMMS and my 20th year teaching middle school. I will be teaching Math 8 and Math 7 during the 2023 - 2024 school year. I have my Master's Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University as a Mathematics Specialist. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) in 11 - 14 year old Mathematics. "Recognized as the “gold standard” in teacher certification, the National Board believes higher standards for teachers means better learning for students." -NBCT. I will be recertifying this school year and look forward to my students taking this journey with me.
When I am not at school, I enjoy playing tennis. I have a son who is a senior at Fox Creek High School and a daughter who is a 7th grader at Merriwether Middle School.
