My name is Joshua Brown and it’s an honor to serve as the director of bands at Leavelle McCampbell Middle School. I grew up in a military family in Columbia, SC. I’m a graduate of Blythewood High School, Furman University, and the Eastman School of Music. Prior to Aiken County Public Schools, I served as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and swim coach at YMCAs across South Carolina and New York State. Teaching has always been a part of my life, whether that is in the world of aquatics or music. I carry a strong passion for music education, and I believe that anyone can learn music.
