Intro to Coding is a hands on technology class. Students use their imagination to create technology projects. Students learn HTML and CSS coding languages to create and design their own web pages. Students learn Java Script (in block or text format) and create their own games. Students also create APPs within Code.org's APP Lab. This is a great class to see if you would like to pursue an education in Computer Science in the future. The essential concepts are great for any career choice and helps to hone your critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Typing is essential in all of my classes. is a wonderful resource to help your students be prepared for their educational future which is filled with typing. Whether it is notes, resumes, emails, papers, etc. It is a necessity to be able to type. This is a free resource that your student can use this summer to prepare them for their school year and future.
