Hello, everyone! This will be my second year teaching at South Aiken High School. I will be teaching Learning Strategies this year. I went about getting my teaching certificate a little bit differently than most. I went to school for business and spent a few years working in the corporate world. After a while, I realized I wanted to be a teacher and applied for and got into an alternative teaching program. 

I grew up here in Aiken and I am glad to be back after moving around for a while. I have a Goldendoodle named Boomer and a cat named Izzy. My best friend is my little sister, who is 6. We go on a lot of adventures together and travel around. I enjoy traveling. I also like listening to true crime podcasts and baking oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. 

I am excited to welcome you all into my class. This is going to be a great year.
