Coach Myers

Coach Dave Myers Bio:

  • Coach Myers begins his eighth season with South Aiken High School. Myers brings thirty plus years of coaching experience. He coached Aiken High School Men’s Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, helping their program to become a force to be reckoned with, including sending quite a few of the players to Division I and II schools.  Coach Myers is also accumulating an impressive resume within the U.S. Youth Soccer Association.  He had great success with Aiken Soccer Club and NECSA where he coached his teams to State Titles.  He holds a USSF “C” license and formerly coached teams for SC ODP.  Coach Myers played collegiate soccer at the University of Maine, a Division I school in the Yankee Conference.  He played Center Back and his accomplishments included All Yankee Conference and Men’s League of Maine two time State Champions.  While in High School he was named an   All -State Player.

    Life for Coach Myers was not always all about soccer, in fact, he was an extremely talented skier and was a member of the US Freestyle Ski Team for eight years, and was the National Champion in 1979.
