Hello, and welcome to my page! My name is Mrs. Chipman and this is my fourth year at South Aiken. This year I am teaching English 1 First Semester and English 2 and English 3 Honors Second Semester. I am originally from a small town in East Tennessee. After high school, I joined the US Navy as a linguist, and in 2016, I graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. My husband is an Aiken native and my best friend. I am blessed to be a mom to my kids, Sebastian and Esther. They bring me so much joy. I also have three fur babies: Rosie, a German Shepherd/lab mix, Billie Holiday, a tuxedo cat, and Daisy, a lively chocolate calico. In my spare time, I like to read, bike, garden, make art, travel, and spend time with my family. In the fall, you can find me hiking or watching LSU, Saints, or UT football. 

I am excited about the 2024-2025 school year, which is full of brilliant possibilities and new relationships with students and parents. I look forward to meeting you soon!
