Hello!

Welcome to music at Byrd Elementary.  I love music and am looking forward to sharing that love of music with my students at Byrd!  I have taught music in PA, WV, NC and SC to grades K-12.   I also have served as a church pianist and music director in many of those states as well.  I am currently the music director at Trinity United Methodist Church in Aiken.

When I am not making music, I am hanging out with my family.  I have 4 great kids and my husband is also a teacher.  I also have several pets including a dog named Scarlette, a Great Dane named Buddy, and a cat named T'challa.

I am excited about the songs we will sing, the instruments we will play, and the many different types of music we will hear this year. If you need to reach me during the school day, I am available from 2:30 PM-3:00 PM, or from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM.
