Ms. Keely Lillard
Welcome to where it all BEGINS...
My name is Keely Lillard. This is my 26th year teaching. I did my student teaching at Byrd Elementary in 5-K and 2nd grade. I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education with certification to teach preschool through 8th grade. I taught 6th grade at Aiken Middle School. Then moved to North Aiken to teach 5th grade, 3rd grade and 1st grade. Following my first year of teaching 1st grade, I was offered the opportunity to return to Byrd Elementary. I was thrilled and eagerly joined the 1st grade team at Byrd and worked with them for 8 AWESOME years. During this time I earned my Masters Degree from Lesley University. When the 4-K position became available at Byrd, I decided to give it a try and I still enjoy the excitement in 4-K today!!
Although I enjoy working other people's children, I have been blessed with 3 of my own. Gavin (20), Julia Grace (15) and Jaxon (12) have had the honor of attending Byrd Elementary. The town of Graniteville stole my heart 23 years ago when I first taught at Byrd and the people in the area have continued to help keep it that way!!
