Hello! My name is Erica Goldman and I am VERY excited to be the Media Specialist here at Byrd! This will be my 8th year of teaching. I graduated from the University of South Carolina Columbia in December 2006 with a BA in Media Arts and from the University of South Carolina Aiken in December 2015 with a BA in Early Childhood Education. I recently graduated from the University of West Alabama with an M.Ed in Library Media.

I LOVE spending time with my family, especially my niece Emma, who is 7, and my nephew Caleb, who is 5. I also love reading, traveling and photography! I am a huge Michigan State fan---Go Green, Go White!

If your child plays a sport, please invite me, as I love to see my students succeed outside the classroom too!

I look forward to working with you and your child this year. Together, we are going to have an AMAZING year in the Library!
