• The safety and social/emotional welfare of our students is our top priority.  Students or parents who believe or suspect that a student is in need of social or emotional support should seek professional assistance either through one of our professional school counselors or a professional mental health counselor.

For emergencies or immediate attention please call 9-1-1 or go directly to a hospital.

    School Based Resource

Aiken County Public Schools is proud to partner with Aiken Barnwell Mental Health (ABMH) and offer families an opportunity to provide these services to their students without the worry of transporation.  The Aiken High mental health counselor is Ms. Abigail Long.  Please see the information sheet below on her services and background.  If you would like to sign up for services, please fill out the form below and return it to your student's school counselor.  Please note that costs for these services vary based on your insurance or the scale pay system and the charges are from ABMH and not Aiken High.
