Hi families!  I am Nikki Ellis & I am thrilled to be your child's 2nd grade teacher this year!  I have been teaching for 14 years & am so happy to be at Chukker Creek!  I've taught Kindergarten in the past and this is my second year teaching 2nd grade! I graduated from USCA with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.  I love spending time with my husband, Brad, & our two children, Ford (10) & Audrey Reese (7), who also attend Chukker Creek.  I'm sure you will hear me talk about them quite often!  I love cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks, visiting Charleston (it’s like a second home to us!) & Highlands, NC whenever we can, & I love to snuggle up with a good book!  I truly believe a driving force of a child's success is parent involvement and communication with the teacher.  I care about your child's growth in school just as much as you do- we will make a great team!  We are going to have a fun, enriching, & memorable school year, I just know it!  I am so happy to have your child as a part of our class family!
