Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Peterson and this is my 13th year in education, but my 2nd here at Chukker Creek. I have previously taught 3rd grade, Pre-K, and students in higher education. I am originally from Aiken and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's in Special Education, and most recently a Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction, so I am a Gamecock through and through! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chris, and our children Tanner and Madison, along with traveling, shopping, and watching Carolina football! Third grade is a year full of new, fun, and challenging learning opportunities, and we enjoy learning each day!
