Hi! My name is Holly Mims. I teach in the department of special services. I am a resource teacher. I teach kindergarten through second grade. I help children with reading, math, social emotional skills and behavior skills.

I grew up in Irmo, South Carolina. I have been teaching for 34 years. I earned my bachelor of science degree from Columbia College. In 2012, I earned my Master's degree from the University of South Carolina in Building Language for Literacy. I have three children, three grandchildren. I have three dogs; two Labrador Retrievers, Grace and Beamer. I also have one miniature dachshund, Daisy Mae.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, read, ride my bicycle and go to the beach.
