Welcome to fifth grade at Chukker Creek Elementary! My name is Julie McLain, and I am excited about being your child's teacher this year. Although this school year marks my 18th year of teaching, this is my first year teaching at Chukker Creek.  Over the years, I have taught a variety of grade levels ranging from kindergarten to seventh grade.  I received my B.A in Elementary Education from Newberry College, and my Masters Degree from Lesley University. I currently live in Aiken and enjoy reading, college football,  traveling, and teaching dance classes.  I have two children in high school who keep me busy at the dance studio and baseball field.  I look forward to building a relationship with you and  your child to provide the best education possible for your student.
