I am excited to be starting my 18th year as a teacher and sixth year at Chukker Creek Elementary! Prior to coming to Chukker Creek, I taught Kindergarten at St. John's United Methodist Preschool for 5 years and before that I taught for Findlay City Schools in Findlay, Ohio.  I have taught second grade and kindergarten in the past and am very excited to be the K-2 Reading Interventionist this year.   I have a Master's Degree in Reading Education and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education both from Ohio University.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Matt and I have three boys: Kyle, Carter and Tyler.  As a family, we enjoy camping, sporting events, and traveling.

It is going to be a great year at Chukker Creek!
