        Hello!! My name is Katie Tate, and I'm a 4th grade GT teacher at Chukker Creek Elementary. I am a graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in Elementary Education with a Masters of Education from Southern Wesleyan. Currently, I’m in the process of getting my 2^nd Masters and hope to one day become a school librarian. I’ve taught a mixture of grades from 2^nd to 6^th grade for the last 15 years, but 4th grade is my favorite. I love the age of kids at this grade level and the curriculum is full of fun topics and skills. 

       Outside of school, I’m married with three kids: Henry (9), Charlie (7), and Emily (3). I spend the majority of my weekends on the soccer field watching my boys play.  I am thrilled to be your child’s 4th-grade teacher and know we’re going to have a FANTASTIC year!!
