Allison Crow

Counselor to Students with Last Names A - D

My name is Allison Cubbage Crow, and I am the Work-Based Learning Counselor at South Aiken High School.  I am an alumnus of South Aiken High School and am thrilled to be back home!  My daughter has started to travel working with the airlines, so my new hobby is seeing the world.  I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from USC Aiken and a Masters with Specialist in Educational Counseling from Augusta State University.
My first job in Aiken County was a Career Counselor helping students connect with job shadowing, cooperative education and apprenticeship work experience.  I continue that work today along with counseling students at South Aiken.  The most rewarding part of my job is to see students connect with career and technology programs earning certifications that will reward them financially.  Whether they are working their way through college or going directly to work, they will be equipped with the skills needed to succeed.

Heather Price

Counselor to Students with Last Names E - J

My name is Heather Price, and I started my career with ACPSD ten years ago as a Career Specialist before joining South Aiken High School as a Counselor seven years ago.  I moved with my family to Aiken fifteen years ago from Akron, Ohio.  I graduated from Kent State University with a BS in Public Relations and within the last eight years went back to school to earn my Masters in School Counseling.  I live with my husband and three children, and we enjoy going to the beach, Disney World, and in the summer hanging out by the pool.  I love working with the students here at South Aiken High School as they navigate their way through the high school experience.  It is rewarding to watch a student enter as a freshman and see how they grow and change and become young adults as they walk across the stage at graduation.
