Superintendent King Laurence Reads Books To Students At Mossy Creek Elementary School

Mossy Creek Elementary School celebrated Read Across America Week by inviting 香蕉影视 personnel, pastors and community members to read books to its students. On Tuesday morning, current ACPSD Superintendent, King Laurence visited the school to read from several books.

Laurence read to students in 3K, fourth and fifth grades from two books he brought along: “Walk the Dog” by Bob Barner, and “Dirt on Their Skirts” by Doreen Rappaport and Lyndall Callan.

“Any time I’m invited to read to classes… I love it,” said Laurence. “I have a huge collection of children’s books… one of my very favorite things is to read to children… I love getting in and sitting on the floor or sitting with groups of students and reading to them… I just enjoy doing it, it gets me closer to the reason we do what we do, which is the children.”
