Our History

  • A Student Code of Conduct Steering Committee conducted a comprehensive community review of the District’s Code of Conduct during the 2015-16 academic year.

Incorporating community members, parents, educational leaders and teachers from elementary, middle and high schools, District Office professionals, including those mentioned below on the leveled subcommittees plus Dr. Shawn Foster, Deputy Superintendent, General Counsel Mr. William Burkhalter, and the Executive Manger of Transportation Ms. Maria McClure, the committee developed a comprehensive student code of conduct by grade level that shares the values of the school district and community at large.
