• Welcome to Health Science 1!

     

    This course is designed to introduce students to the medical field. Student learn about the multitude of medical careers through engagement in the classroom, hands on activities, labs, classroom speakers and much more. At this level, students will be given the opportunity to engage in a training called, Stop the Bleed.

    This introductory course will allow students to explore the many pathways of healthcare and find a niche for their passion in the medical field.

    During the school year, numerous guest speakers will join the class to offer a variety of community engagement and an outside look at career within the medical field.
