• Welcome to Health Science 1 and 2!

     

    These courses are designed to provide advanced knowledge and hands on skills. By the end of the course, students will become proficient in basic patient care vital signs, CPR certified and begin to work in the skills lab setting.

    Students will be required to learn the foundations of HIPAA regulations, health insurance, legal and ethical issues, and much more.

    In addition to healthcare skills, students will engage in professional seminars, mock interviewing, and teambuilding and communication activities to attain basic professional and life skills.

    During the school year, numerous guest speakers will join the class to offer a variety of community engagement and an outside look at career within the medical field.
