Welcome to Learning Strategies! My name is Betsy Marshall and I am honored to work with the students and parents of NAHS. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College and my MSW from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.  After graduation, I remained in Columbia for 20 years, working in Lexington/Richland School District 5 and then directing a statewide school readiness program for the South Carolina Department of Education. 

I came home to the CSRA a few years ago and love living in North Augusta. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my parents and amazing son Cole, who is a sophomore at NAHS. If I am not at school or with my family, you can usually find me playing with my cats, laughing with friends, or streaming too many documentaries and series. My number one goal is to help my students gain skills to excel in their classes and all areas of life. Lesson Plans can be found on this page.
