Hi Everyone!

I'm excited to be a part of North Augusta High School. I started at North Augusta as a social studies teacher in March of the 2022-23 school year and for the 2023-24 school year I will be teaching 9th grade Human Geography both Honors and CP.

I've spent most of my career in the workplace before transitioning into a new career in education. I graduated from North Greenville University and Charleston Southern University. I earned my Masters degree in New Orleans.

I am married to Kristi and we've been married since 1988! We have three grown children and five grandchildren. Today our family also includes two labradoodles both named for British television detectives, Vera and Phyrne.

We've lived and worked in South Carolina, Louisiana, and Mississippi and we also lived and worked in Kenya where we both taught in a college.

We love camping, hiking and traveling. Personally, photography is one of my favorite hobbies. You might have also guessed from the names of our doodles that we love murder mysteries!
