Mr. Marsh Stark

My Name is Marsh Stark and this is my 7th year at NAHS.  This is my 24th year in the classroom and most of this time I have been teaching Spanish.  I previously taught Spanish I, II and III at Strom Thurmond High School, Orangeburg Prep and Hilton Head Prep.  I spent many of those years coaching as well.  I have coached JV and Varsity level sports for my entire career, including football, golf and bowling. I have a Bachelors degree from USC in History/ State and Local Government, an MAT from USC and spent over a year studying Spanish at the University of The Basque Country in Spain and three months studying German at the University of Luneburg in Germany.  I earned my second Masters in Educational Leadership in 2019.

I grew up in Edgefield and returned to my hometown with my family over eight years ago. My wife, Jennifer, works with the South Carolina Department of Education, Office of Early Learning and Literacy. I have three stepchildren and together we have a set of twelve year-old triplets.  My family lives on a farm where we can hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors. I am a die-hard Gamecock fan and love most any sport!
