Although I am a South Carolina Native, I spent my high school years in the country of Bahrain, in the Middle East.  After graduation, I returned  to the states where I earned my Business Management degree from the University of North Florida.  While attending school, I worked for Bank of America as an Instructional Designer and Systems Analyst.  After moving to North Augusta, I earned my certification to teach Business, Marketing and Computer Technology, and in 2020 received my masters in Library Media. Prior to joining the Jacket Family, I worked at Aiken High as a Media Specialist and North Augusta Middle as a Business and computer technology teacher.   

I love working with high school students. I see this as an opportunity to mold them to become successful citizens; academically, socially, and emotionally!  My focus is not only on promoting reading for pleasure, but encouraging research skills, so students are prepared to make informed decisions to become valuable citizens in today's technologically driven world.
