Welcome to the Drama Club!
We will have our first meeting of the 2019-2020 school year in the second week of school. Be looking for the announcement.
This Fall we will be performing a tribute to The Carol Burnett Show, a sketch-comedy and variety show from the 60's and 70's (and widely considered one of the funniest and most influential shows ever on television!) Lots of talent will be needed to perform several comedy sketches, but also some song and dance numbers!
As usual, we will be competing at the Garcia Theater Project at USCAiken in May. The one-act play we will be performing will be announced in November.
Back by popular demand, we wil be having weekly Improv Workshops again, so come by and have some fun with us! No expertise required!
And we have lots of non-performance opportunities to be a part of Drama Club this year: stage crew, light tech, fundraising, prop/set making, and organizing!

Hi! I'm Mr. Hubbard.
I've been a theater director (and English teacher) for 18 years. I was even forced to direct Once Upon a Mattress as a 22-year-old student-teacher, but that's a long story. My favorite shows that I've directed include Robin Hood, Check Please, Godspell, Pirates of Penzance, and Mary Poppins.
