Mrs. Cara Lewis
Hello Students and Families!
My name is Mrs. Cara Lewis and I will be your Algebra 1 teacher this school year. This is my 11th year in education, but my first year in Aiken County and at North Augusta High. I have taught 6th - 12th grade Math and Science at 3 previous schools. I got my undergraduate degree in Biology at Georgia Southern University. During my time there I was also a cheerleader for football, basketball and competition. I coach competitive cheerleading in the area. I received my Masters degree from Augusta University in Chemistry Education and later completed a Specialist degree from AU in Advanced Curriculum. In my spare time I love to go to the beach, shop, and spend time with friends and family. My husband and I have been married for almost 10 years and have a 5 year old daughter named Penelope. She keeps us busy as she is a year-round swimmer and competitive cheerleader. Our weekends consist of cheering in aquatic centers and yelling at cheerleading competitions. I am so excited to get to know each of you and start your high school math journey off strong!

If a student is going to be out for an extended period of time, please send me an email. I will be sure to keep them up to date and supplement schoology for them if necessary.
