This is my 12th year teaching NJROTC at North Augusta High School.  I retired from the Navy in 2011 after 22 years of service.  I served as a surface warfare officer with nuclear power subspecialty, serving on 6 ships including 5 deployments overseas and various operations around the world, a tour in Puerto Rico, served with the Army in Iraq conducting counter-IED operations, and 2 tours in Washington DC.  I was a contractor with the Army developing methods and procedures to use biometrics for physical security applications for the military before teaching at North Augusta HS.  I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois in 1989, earned a Masters in Computer Science (Sentinel University), a Masters in Engineering Management (ODU), and a certificate in Identity Management (Naval Post Graduate School) while serving in the Navy.  I received a PhD in Philosophy (Industrial/Organizational Psychology) from Northcentral University in Sep 2017.
