I have been teaching English at North Augusta High School since 1998, and I have taught public speaking, literature, and composition at the college level for the past sixteen years.  In fact, I taught Intermediate Composition to college sophomores in California this summer.  My wife and I have been married for twenty-five years, and we have two awesome children, a twenty-year-old son who is a junior at the University of Alabama (on a full-ride scholarship) and a seventeen-year-old daughter who is a senior at this high school.  My study of Language and Literacy at the University of South Carolina has increased my passion for teaching students the joy of reading and the power of language.  I look forward to another excellent year.
