I graduated from Summerville High School in 1991 (Go Greenwaves!) Right after high school I studied computer science and physics at College of Charleston. Then, I moved to Savannah in 1993 to study Computer Art and Film for a special effects degree at SCAD.
I realized that my calling was to teach young minds how to be confident in themselves and in their ability to do math...yes, math!...So, I moved to Aiken and graduated from USCA with a BS degree in Math Education in 2007.
I have been teaching math at North Augusta High School for 17 years now. I am a chef's wife and proud mother of two girls, one who is 11 and one who is thirty-one.
