• Seniors who plan to attend a 4 year college should apply to at least 3 colleges by December 1.  Many colleges have rolling admissions which means that applications are accepted throughout the school year. However, different colleges have different scholarship, admission, and housing deadlines.  Be mindful of the terms Early Decision and Early ActionEarly Decision is a binding commitment to enroll in the school you are applying to if admitted.  Early Action simply means applying early and in most cases receiving an admission decision earlier.  Please check with your college for important dates. Official high school transcripts must be sent directly from NAHS. We utilize the website Parchment.com to process transcripts electronically.  

    NOTE: If a student wants to apply to a 4-year college in South Carolina, they will need to have at least two foreign language credits, one fine arts credit, and one math credit beyond Algebra 2.

    If a student wants to apply to a 4-year college in Georgia, they will need to have at least two foreign language credits, one fine arts credit, one math credit beyond Algebra 2, and 4 science credits To find out which classes will count for the 4 science credit requirements in Georgia

    1) Request that your transcript be sent: 

     

    2) Remember: You must send your SAT and/or ACT scores to the schools to which you are applying. These scores must come directly from the testing agency and will not be included with or on your transcript.
