Welcome to Chemistry!

Welcome back everyone. I am very excited about the new school year and getting to know you all.

Chemistry is a very interesting subject as it is utilized in so many ways. There are so many real-life applications for chemistry. Every day there are chemical reactions occurring throughout your body that function to help keep you alive and most pharmaceutical companies would not be as successful as they are without chemistry.

Chemistry can be a challenging subject for some students as it incorporates science and math. It is extremely important that you practice and study all of the information that I give you. Should you feel that you need help or are falling behind, please have a conversation with me about coming for help. 

Also, please remember that if you miss class it is YOUR responsibility to speak to me about when you will make up the work you missed. Per Aiken County School policy, all students missing school with an excused absence will have one day to make up their work. Please stay on top of this as I will not hunt you down to get it completed!
